Brain Balance and Mental Fitness Training
The People Catalyst flagship programme “Brain Balance and Mental Fitness – Creating a Healthy Lifestyle”© was designed by Corporate Psychologist Louise Rabbone and Neuro-Expressive Psychotherapist Shirley Deane in response to the changes in our social and technological environment and the impact on our brain and human behaviour.
History shows that the way we now work, socially interact and communicate has become significantly different over the past 25 to 30 years. The advent of mobile phones, e-mail and social media has created an increasingly connected interactive world. However, there are increasing signs that as a society we are not coping with a continued prevalence of reported mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, suicide and significant isolation issues particularly amongst our youth and elderly. Ironically, we appear to be less connected as a human race than ever before.
While the technological revolution has created significant benefits to our society and working environment, it has also left us with fall-out effects. The pace at which our brains are now required to function has increased as a result of the efficiencies of technology, expectations of organisations, relationships, and ourselves which often pushes us into deficit, overload and burnout. There is a growing need for us to become more aware of these effects and to develop better ways to manage their impact to ensure optimal mental health.
“Brain Balance and Mental Fitness – Creating a Healthy Lifestyle”© is a comprehensive and practical program designed specifically with the view to assist individual mental and emotional restructuring. The programme’s focus is to facilitate change and provide the internal support to empower and enable individual capability to achieve and enhance mental fitness and wellbeing.
The People Catalyst provides an integrated model outlining a step by step process to enable individuals to regain control of their brain, enhance their quality of life and prevent their mental health from falling “below the line” to promote mental fitness and sustainable health.
It is the new generation in mental health prevention and wellbeing education.
